Ebenezer Films

Each year Ebenezer Films creates a large amount of promotional videos for Easterfest. Usually work gets underway on these around October/November but this year the first teaser clip has already been produced.

The awesome graphic design is courtesy of Steve Dix (Edge Creative) and all footage and animation done Ebenezer Films.

Gametraders commissioned Ebenezer Films to create two 15 second TV commercials. One for the release of the game Grand Theft Auto IV and the other to promote the Toowoomba store.

Ebenezer Films created the clean, sophisticated look of the TV commercials to match the look of the Gametraders store.

Easterfest 2008 is only weeks away. Ebenezer Films has been hard at work producing seven different TVCs for this year’s festival.

Here’s a ‘youth oriented’ one that will air locally on Southern Cross Ten.

Here’s another one with more of a family focus that will air locally on WIN.

Grand Central’s Christmas campaign is a huge five week countdown to Christmas culminating in the giveaway of a $10,000 shopping spree from Myer. Each week Grand Central is giving away a different prize with the $10,000 shopping spree drawn on Christmas Eve.

All you need to do is spend $50 at any Grand Central store to be in the draw!

Too bad we’re not allowed to enter

Ebenezer Films was approached by New Hope Church to produce a 30 second TVC for their Fairytale Christmas Spectacular playing at the Empire Theatre on the 14th & 15th of December.

As part of promoting Santa’s Arrival at Grand Central we produced four 30 second TVCs counting down the sleeps till Santa’s Arrival.

Huge crowds turned out to see Santa arrive on the day!

This is the first of the TVCs that we produced.

This year, Easterfest is making available a heap of online videos as part of their marketing strategy.

Ebenezer Films will be putting together lots of short clips to highlight the variety of activities and attractions on offer over the Easterfest weekend.

This clip showcases the Red Frogs Colesseum and features the JC Epidemic BMX crew.

Central Jewellers are the exclusive stockists in Toowoomba of the Chamilia range of jewellery.

Here’s the TV commercial we produced for Central Jewellers to announce the availability of this gorgeous new range.

Grand Central puts on quite a show each school holidays.

Week 1 of the September Holidays featured free dance lessons from Toowoomba’s own Dance Central.

Week 2 featured the high flying, slam dunking antics of Splat!

Here are the TV commercials we produced for Grand Central’s September School Holiday Entertainment.

This year, Australian Idol winner Kate DeAraugo climbed aboard the Grand Central float to lead the 2007 Grand Central Floral Parade. After the parade Kate DeAraugo performed a one show only exclusive performance live in Grand Central’s centre court.

Here’s the TVC we produced to promote Kate’s parade appearance and her live performance.

Grand Central have embarked on a series of new TVCs and Ebenezer Films are super proud to be the company producing them.

This Fashion TVC was part of a 4 day campaign launched across print, newspaper, radio & TV.

Maintaining a consistent ‘look and feel’ across all these platforms was a high priority.

Whilst doing the ‘Renovation Rescue’ on the new Ebenezer Films premises we setup a camera to create a timelapse of the process. I wish the floor sanding could have been captured but the dust wouldn’t have been too good for the camera.

Exciting news!

Ebenezer Films has relocated from our home office to fancy new premises!

Well ….. as you can see by the before and after photos, it wasn’t all that fancy before we began our ‘Renovation Rescue’. Tasks included painting all the walls, transferring all the furniture and computer gear, and by far the biggest job was to sand the floor.

I know now why I produce videos for a living!

Our new studio is located at 5 Mark Lane, downtown Toowoomba, on the 2nd floor of Salt Studios.

In August 2007, Remedy approached Ebenezer Films to produce a TV commercial to promote their upcoming album launch on the 8th of September at Rumours.

Concert starts at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $5 at the door and the support artist is good friend, Stu Larsen.

For the 3rd year in a row, Ebenezer Films is proud to have produced the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers TV commercials.

All up this year we produced 5 TV commercials for the Carnival of Flowers. These are being broadcast in Brisbane, Regional NSW and of course, Toowoomba.

This is the first of three TV commercials we produced for the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers - way back in 2005.

At the time there wasn’t any Carnival footage available so we were required to come up with something from scratch.

This one is certainly one of our all-time favourites.

In May 2007, Ebenezer Films was approached by Box Ten to create a 15 second TV commercial for one of their clients, Absolute Cool.

Absolute Cool are Toowoomba’s air conditioning specialists - and it is with complete impartiality that I can recommend their services. In August 2006 they supplied and installed two air-conditioners into our home, well before we made their TV commercial

For the 3rd year in a row Ebenezer Films produced a boatload of content for AGMF (now Easterfest).

Over 3,000 DVD copies of this promotional video were distributed throughout Australia as a key marketing tool for the festival.

30,000+ people attend the festival throughout the weekend making AGMF/Easterfest the biggest event of the year!

As always, the official voice of AGMF/Easterfest is none other than Jason Myatt.

Ebenezer Films has been working with Grand Central Shopping Centre since 2005. Most of the work to this point had been behind-the-scenes productions such as filming in-centre activities and creating in-house marketing DVDs.

So, we were stoked when the opportunity arose to produce Grand Central’s Christmas TV commercials.
